Morgan Gibbs-White has been called up to Thomas Tuchel’s England squad as a replacement for Cole Palmer, who is set to withdraw from the group due to load management.
The Athletic reports that the Nottingham Forest midfielder has been added to the squad after Palmer’s withdrawal was confirmed on Monday.

Gibbs-White, 26, had been on a family holiday in Dubai after featuring in Forest’s 1-0 Premier League defeat by Coventry City on Saturday.
He has now returned to England and will join up with Tuchel’s squad ahead of the start of the Three Lions’ Nations League campaign.
Gibbs-White was omitted from Tuchel’s original 27-man squad despite making a strong start to the season. He scored 15 Premier League goals last term and has six England caps, having made his senior debut in September 2024.
Palmer has withdrawn after scoring four goals and providing two assists in seven appearances for Chelsea this season. He played the full 90 minutes in Friday’s 3-0 defeat by Brentford.
England begin their Nations League campaign against world champions Spain at Wembley on Saturday, before facing Czechia and Croatia during the extended international window.
