
Hyderabad: The Secunderabad unit of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) rescued 126 missing children and reunited them with their families under Operation Nanhe Farishtey.
Speaking about RPF personnel’s relentless efforts to save children, the most vulnerable section of society, Venkat Reddy, SI of RPF, explained, “Under operation Nanhe Farishtey, hundreds of runaway or missing children were reunited with their families.” A. Naveen Kumar, senior divisional security commissioner, on Wednesday, spoke about the impact of the operation in rescuing those runaway or missing children.
In 2024, 331 children were rescued, whereas in 2025, 479 kids were reunited with their families and in 2026 (from January till date) 126 children were saved, Naveen, added.
