It’s really starting to feel like every movie is the same. A CGI good guy/alien/dinosaur has to fight a CGI bad guy/alien/dinosaur. Boom, paycheck cashed. Or maybe it’s the past, and everyone learns the most unquestionable lesson possible about prejudice. Or a foul-mouthed cartoon says foul things. We’re simple little monkeys who like our shiny toys, we just sometimes wish they were a little more colorful.
Fortunately, there are still indie auteurs out there willing to self-finance the offensively original.
