200 Attend Medical Camp Organised By Cops

HYDERABAD: Amberpet police in collaboration with a corporate hospital foundation on Wednesday organised a ‘mega free medical camp’ at the government primary school at Tulasi Ram Golnaka.

The camp saw an overwhelming response wherein as many as 200 local residents, including 50 senior citizens, visited the venue. The medical camp was inaugurated by Rakshitha Krishna Murthy, DCP, Secunderabad zone, who also graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Rikshitha emphasised the importance of remaining healthy and the police department’s commitment towards community welfare.

A team of doctors from the foundation provided consultations in general medicine, orthopaedics, gynaecology, paediatrics, and physiotherapy, apart from diagnostic tests such as blood glucose, BP, and haemoglobin were done on-site, and necessary medicines were distributed free-of-cost.

Police officials J. Narsaiah, DCP, G. Jagan, ACP, OU division and T. Kiran Kumar, SHO Amberpet, and other police personnel assisted the residents during the camp.
