
Hyderabad: A total of 2,436 Agniveers of Batch 8/26 formally joined the armed forces after completing their training at the Artillery Centre here, during an Attestation Parade held at the Palani Parade Ground on Saturday. The parade marked the culmination of months of military training and the formal induction of the recruits into service.
The ceremony was reviewed by Brigadier Rahul Machhral, Commandant and Chief Instructor, Artillery Centre, Hyderabad. The event featured ceremonial drills showcasing the discipline, precision and training imparted to the Agniveers during their time at the centre.
Addressing the gathering, Brig. Machhral congratulated the Agniveers on completing their training and called upon them to uphold the values and traditions of the armed forces in their future assignments. He commended the recruits for their dedication, perseverance and commitment during training and said they would play an important role in safeguarding the nation’s security.
Officials said the attestation ceremony signifies the transition of trainees into soldiers and reflects the Artillery Centre’s continued role in preparing personnel for service in the Indian Army. The newly inducted Agniveers will now move on to their respective assignments, carrying forward the values of discipline, loyalty and service instilled during their training.
