Palnadu: Four persons were killed in a tragic road accident in Palnadu district of Andhra Pradesh on Friday. The incident occurred near Macherla town when a speeding SUV rammed into a stationary lorry on the roadside.
All four victims died on the spot, while several others sustained injuries. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police said the deceased were residents of Hyderabad. They were reportedly travelling towards Pamuru following a death in the family when the accident took place.
A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
