ALLEN PARK — Every member of the Detroit Lions currently on the active roster was present at practice Thursday, Oct. 29, including the seven players who missed Wednesday’s session.
Wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle), running back Jahmyr Gibbs (shoulder), defensive tackle Tyleik Williams (illness), offensive tackle Penei Sewell (rest), defensive ends Aidan Hutchinson (rest) and D.J. Wonnum (rest), and defensive tackle Alim McNeill (rest) all returned to practice. That’s a positive sign as the Lions continue to prepare for their meeting with the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, Nov. 1.

St. Brown tweaked his ankle in a Week 7 win over the Green Bay Packers, leading to him being held out of Wednesday’s practice. Gibbs’ shoulder injury was previously not known before he was absent Wednesday, but his return Thursday signals it’s not a significant issue.
Also practicing Thursday was safety Kerby Joseph (knee), who remains on the physically unable to perform list but had his 21-day acclimation window open Wednesday. The Lions have until Nov. 18 to activate Joseph to their active roster.
