82.61 Pass percentage Recorded in SSC Advanced Supplementary Examination

Hyderabad: Students recorded an overall pass percentage of 82.61 in the SSC Advanced Supplementary Examinations, for which results were declared on Thursday. Girls outperformed boys by 3.58 percentage points.
Candidates can access the results on the official website for 10 days. Online applications for recounting and re-verification will remain open from June 26 to July 5. Recounting costs ₹500 per subject and re-verification ₹1,000 per subject. Candidates who seek re-verification need not apply separately for recounting. The board said there is “no provision for revaluation” and will not accept applications sent directly by post or payments through demand drafts.
The director of school education released the results, showing that 31,736 candidates registered, 27,857 appeared and 23,013 passed the examinations. Among boys, 14,281 of the 17,568 passed, with a success rate at 81.29 per cent. Girls recorded 84.87 per cent after 8,732 of the 10,289 candidates cleared the examination,.
Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Siddipet and Mulugu reported 100 per cent results, while Vikarabad stood last at 44.43. Hyderabad reported a pass percentage of 77.16, after 6,941 of 8,996 candidates passed. Medchal recorded 79.50 per cent and Rangareddy district 92.82
The examinations took place from June 5 to June 12, and spot valuation ran from June 14 to June 16. The board described the published result as a “provisional list” of roll numbers eligible for the Secondary School Certificate. Results of a few candidates were withheld as the board awaited information from schools, valuation camps or examination centres.
