90,000+ Students to Take EAPCET Agri-Pharmacy Exams; Marks to be Displayed Instantly After Test

Hyderabad:Students appearing for the Eapcet in the agricultural and pharmacy streams starting Monday will not be allowed into the centres even if they are late by a minute. The morning session will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon, and afternoon session from 3 pm to 5 pm.

Further, candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall until the end of the examination, said Eapcet convener Dr K. Vijaya Kumar Reddy.

He advised students to visit the centres well in advance to get acquaintance with the location of the test centre.

A total of 90,958 students registered for the agriculture and pharmacy stream exams scheduled on May 4 in two sessions and May 5 morning session at 106 centres.

After completion of the examination duration, the marks secured by the candidate will be displayed on their respective screens according to the preliminary key. The rank will be allotted based on the performance (normalised marks according to final key) in the Eapcet.

Dr Vijaya Kumar Reddy said the bandwidth of marks vs. rank obtained by the candidates in 2024 and 2025 have been hosted on the website https://eapcet.tgche.ac.in/.

Admissions Open for Young India Institutes of Excellence: 6,600 Seats Up for Grabs via Unified TGRJC-CET

Hyderabad:The school education department has issued a common notification for admissions into Telangana Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGREIS) Junior Colleges (3,000 seats) and Young India Institutes of Excellence (YIIoE) in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (3,600 seats) and introduced a single entrance test to streamline the process for students.

The TGRJC-CET now be used for admissions into both TGREIS Junior Colleges and YIIoE institutions. The department said this would remove the need for separate applications and reduce confusion for students and parents.

Around 93 KGBVs have been upgraded as Young India Institutes of Excellence. These institutions will offer residential education along with coaching for exams such as IIT-JEE, NEET, Eapcet and CLAT. Admissions will be based on merit, reservation norms and eligibility criteria, the department said.

TGRJC-CET Update: Two Hall Tickets for Some Students; Official Guidelines on Group Selection and Centre Arrival

Hyderabad:The TGRJC-CET entrance examination for admissions into Gurukul institutions will take place on May 3 from 10 am to 12.30 pm across 317 centres, with 76,174 students applying this year.

Seats will be allotted for first-year Intermediate courses in 35 Gurukul junior colleges and 93 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas. Students will be admitted into MPC, BPC and MEC groups in KGBVs, while Gurukul Junior Colleges will offer MPC, BPC.

Officials said some candidates applied to both TGRJC and KGBV for MEC and CEC groups and received two hall tickets. “They should go to the respective examination centre after checking the hall ticket related to the group they want to join and appear for the joint examination,” the Telangana Gurukul Vidyalayas Corporation said.

Candidates must carry only their hall ticket and reach the centre one hour before the exam. Mobile phones and digital watches are not allowed. Those who have not downloaded their hall ticket can access it from the official website up to one hour before the exam.
