Hyderabad: Panic gripped the staff of Hyderabad Metro Rail when an unidentified person informed them that a bomb was planted at Uppal station.
Upon receiving information, a bomb disposal squad along with a sniffer dog rushed to the spot. The squad checked the station premises thoroughly and declared it as a hoax bomb call.
This brought much needed relief for the staff and the passengers. However, officials said the station was checked completely as part of a mock drill.
