Tyson Fury sold his seaside family mansion for an eye-watering price tag.

The heavyweight boxer famously lived in Morecambe for 17 years, alongside wife Paris and their now-seven children. The family welcomed viewers back into their lives in the second season of At Home with the Furys, streaming on Netflix.

After a three-year wait, the show picks up during 37-year-old Tyson’s latest retirement attempt, which came to an end on April 11.

At the end of the new instalment, Tyson and Paris finally take the leap to move out of Morecambe. But how much did they let their mansion go for?

The family sold their mansion for £700,000 last August, having initially listed it for £800,000.

The couple originally bought the property for just £480,000 in 2015. It featured six bedrooms, three bathrooms and lush coastal views. The home even had a custom ‘The Gypsy King’ mural on the driveway.

In the final episode of series two, Tyson looks back on his time in the seaside town. “Leaving the nest, it’s sad really. I’ve been in Morecambe for 17 years. It’s gone like a flash,” he explained.

“It’s made a big impact on my life, it’s where the kids were born and raised. I have got great memories in Morecambe. You know, going to the gym, going to the tip, go to Asda, go for a walk down the prom. It’s been brilliant.”

Although the family have made valuable memories in the home, they struggled with maintaining privacy. In one candid scene, Tyson revealed that they would often receive letters from strangers, which he described as “begging letters”.

Some of the notes would beg the family for financial help, which naturally placed them in an awkward position. The “final straw” came after an intruder scaled the 40ft fence outside their former home, and begged the boxer to “adopt” them.

Paris and Tyson later packed up and moved to the Isle of Man, where they reside in a new home reportedly worth around £8 million.
