Anantapur: Anantapur Urban MLA D. Prasad laid foundation stones for 76 development works worth ₹76 crore on Monday as part of the birthday celebrations of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
A mega blood donation camp was organised at Praja Vedika in Anantapur to mark the occasion. Kalyandurgam MLA Amilineni Surendra Babu organised the camp in coordination with SRC Trust, NTR Trust, the Indian Red Cross Society, Rural Development Trust and the Government Hospital. Employees, TD and alliance leaders and party workers participated, and 7,439 units of blood were collected.
A 10-day homam programme for the health and prosperity of the Chief Minister concluded at the Jambukeswara Swamy temple in Rayadurg, organised by MLA Kalava Srinivas.
