وقد استمرت عمليات الرصد والتتبع لعدة أيام قبل التنفيذ في سهل الغاب بريف حماة، ضمن متابعة دقيقة ومستمرة.
وأوضحت الداخلية السورية أنها مستمرة في ملاحقة باقي مرتكبي المجزرة، لإلقاء القبض عليهم وتقديمهم إلى العدالة.
