Jessi Draper Affidavit Reveals Dakota Mortensen’s Alleged Threat To Embarrass Taylor Frankie Paul

Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen are trending once again. The former’s attorney, Eric Swinyard, revealed some details from Jessi Draper’s affidavit during a hearing on April 30, 2026. As per the affidavit, Mortensen told Draper that he was allegedly planning to embarrass Taylor by taking the matter into his own hands. Taylor Frankie Paul’s attorney claimed that Dakota Mortensen was showing a different side of himself

Back in April 2026, Dakota Mortensen was seeking the custody of his child, Ever, after he filed a protective order against Taylor Frankie Paul. Taylor later filed a protective order against Dakota, making accusations of abuse and control. The latest hearing on April 30, 2026, was related to the child custody arrangement, where Eric Swinyard told the court that Dakota’s alleged behaviour in the past was completely different compared to how he was appearing.

Notably, Taylor and Dakota’s domestic violence case came into the headlines in March 2026 after TMZ obtained a video of the same. Eric referred to Jessi Draper’s affidavit, which reportedly had details of all the events that happened before the video resurfaced online. As per the affidavit, Dakota’s plans and the video release were reportedly linked to each other, and Mortensen also spoke about everything in detail to his roommate, Cru, and her husband, Jordan Nagatikaura. Eric told the court:

“He told that he was going to take matters into his own hands and embarrass Taylor. He specifically told Ms. Draper that he planned on leaking embarrassing videos of Taylor to the press, starting with the barstool video. He specifically named TMZ as the outlet, and a few days later, that exact video was released by TMZ.”

Eric Swinyard claimed that Dakota Mortensen intends to destroy Taylor Frankie Paul

The recent hearing on April 30, 2026, marked the first time Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen appeared together. After addressing the details of Jessi Draper’s affidavit, Eric Swinyard told the court that Dakota’s plans to embarrass his client reveal the real face of Mortensen, adding that it was a “step too far.” Eric also told the court about Dakota’s alleged intentions, as he said:

“Our point with the video is that he’s not just trying to come after her for custody. He’s not just trying to seek a protective order; he wants to literally destroy her. He wants to subject her and her family to a new round of torment.”

On the other hand, Dakota Mortensen’s attorney dismissed the claims made by Eric Swinyard. During the previous hearing held on April 7, 2026, Dakota got the custody of Ever. The court even allowed 8 hours of supervised visitation for Taylor Frankie Paul every week.

The news came a few days after Taylor and Dakota filed protective orders against each other. The dispute video of the duo, obtained by TMZ, featured Mortensen reportedly recording everything while he was being hit by Taylor. Paul was taken into custody around three years ago after another dispute with Mortensen in 2023, following which the former pleaded guilty in abeyance to aggravated assault.
