Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh Government has constituted a High-Level Committee to implement and follow up on the recommendations made by the One Man Committee that probed procurement and quality issues relating to ghee in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams.

As per G.O.Rt.No. 900 issued by the General Administration (SC.D) Department on Thursday, the One Man Committee, constituted earlier to examine issues related to ghee procurement in TTD, submitted its report to the Government on April 24, 2026.

The report reportedly pointed out systemic deficiencies, procedural lapses and accountability-related issues, besides making several recommendations.

Following an examination of the report, the Government decided to set up a High-Level Committee comprising Chief Secretary G. Sai Prasad as Chairman, Director General of Police (HoPF) as Member and Secretary to Government, Law Department, as Member-Convener.

The committee has been entrusted with examining the findings and recommendations of the One Man Committee, suggesting administrative, disciplinary and legal action, preparing a prioritised implementation plan with timelines and recommending a monitoring mechanism for effective implementation.

The panel has been directed to submit its report within one week from the date of issuance of the order.
