وقال تيدروس أدهانوم غيبريسوس خلال مؤتمر صحفي في جنيف: “حتى اليوم، تم الإبلاغ عن 8 حالات، من بينها ثلاث وفيات، وقد تَبيَّن أن خمسًا من هذه الحالات الـ8 ناجمة عن فيروس هانتا، بينما تُعتبَر الحالات الثلاث الأخرى مشتبها بها”.
