Homicide detectives are investigating after a man’s body was found in a Tarneit park early Friday morning.
Emergency services were called to Bruny Drive, in Tarneit in Melbourne’s outer west, about 4.30am where the yet-to-be identified body was found.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said a post-mortem will be conducted to determine his cause of death.
“A crime scene has been established, and the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident remains ongoing,” they said.
The park, in the heart of a residential area, was taped off by police early on Friday morning. Officers holding binders were seen speaking with residents while others inspected the scene.
