Warning: This post contains some spoilers for season one of Prime Video’s Off Campus and minor spoilers for Elle Kennedy’s book series.
Off Campus, the new Prime Video YA show keeping the hockey romance obsession alive, is here after much anticipation, and the wait has been more than worth it.
In case you have been living under a rock, season one of Off Campus, based on the bestselling book series of the same name by Canadian author Elle Kennedy, premiered globally on May 13. Over eight gripping episodes, we were introduced to the stars of the Briar U Hawks hockey team, and more than one curveball was thrown to keep book readers enjoying it as much as those who are only now being introduced to the stories.
Off Campus was adapted for TV by Louisa Levy, and long before its premiere and even before we got a teaser, the show already had a dedicated fandom to propel it into the popularity ranks. Now that the first season is out, we fear that number will only keep going up, and, of course, the countdown for season two is already on.
If you want to know more about season one or can’t wait to dive into details about season two, below, we’ve gathered everything you need to know about Prime Video’s Off Campus.

What is Off Campus about?
Prime Video describes Off Campus as a ‘college soap. Per the official logline, the show “follows an elite ice hockey team and the women in their lives, as they grapple with love, heartbreak and self-discovery—forging deep friendships and enduring bonds while navigating the complexities that come with transitioning into adulthood.”
Season one, which, as mentioned above, has eight episodes, follows the “opposites attract” love story between songwriter Hannah Wells (Ella Bright) and Briar University’s all-star hockey athlete Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli), the captain of the school’s team, known as the Hawks. The season adapts Elle Kennedy’s 2015 novel The Deal.
