But despite the fame surrounding her, she is still like any doting mommy who would go to any lengths for her kids. Kim is a mother to four children, North West, Saint West, Chicago West and Psalm West and is co-parenting them with her ex-husband, Kanye West.

Kim and Kanye’s youngest child, Psalm, turned 7 on May 9, 2026. The doting mommy hosted a grand Pokémon-themed birthday party for him, which was attended by his friends and family. Sharing pictures on her social media handle, Kim offered a sneak peek at the party, which featured a large Poké Ball balloon and a life-size Pikachu.
The party featured Psalm and his friends enjoying swimming, arts and crafts, and dancing to a live DJ. Psalm was dressed in a black Pikachu shirt and shorts, matching the party theme. On the other hand, Kim looked stunning in a pair of blue jeans, paired with a white, body-hugging top. Sharing the pictures, Kim captioned the post as:

Psalm’s father and Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband, Kanye West, remains missing from the party
Psalm’s birthday was attended by his cousins and family members. Other family members in attendance included Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner, cousin Cici Bussey, and her 16-year-old nephew, Mason Disick. Kardashian’s sisters, Khloe and Kourtney, were also present with their children. However, Kim’s ex-husband and Psalm’s father, Kanye West and his girlfriend, Bianca Censori, were missing from the celebrations.

Kim Kardashian and Kanya West’s relationship got strained due to his frequent Twitter rants and polarising statements. Kim and Kanye even dealt with the latter’s bipolar disorder diagnosis. However, Kim highlighted his absence from their children’s lives. She once revealed that the children are aware of his travel habits and are used to it. While his physical absence as a father is noticeable, Kim mentioned that she never stopped him from meeting their kids and sometimes even flies them internationally to Saudi Arabia, Italy, or Japan whenever he asks.
Kim Kardashian made her sons sign a legal contract
During her appearance on Jay Shetty’s podcast, Kim revealed that she had made her sons sign a contract. She emphasised that it is a legal contract that states that her sons Saint (7) and Psalm (4) can never leave her and always have to stay with her. She added that per the contract, her sons must be best friends with Kim forever.
After hearing Kim, the podcast host, Jay Shetty asked her whether her sons willingly signed the contract. To this, the Skimms owner says that both her sons agree with her. Kim revealed that she told her sons they don’t need to move out of the house, even when they are in their 20s or 30s.
