Katie Price has finally revealed what she calls her husband, Lee Andrews, as she opened up on her fears for his safety after claiming that he had been kidnapped in Dubai
Katie Price has shared the nickname she gives Lee Andrews. It came after the former glamour model expressed her fears for her fourth husband, who she claims has been kidnapped.
Ms Price hasn’t spoken to her husband since Wednesday night, when he was allegedly on his way to the UK, two days after he initially said he was at the airport. Mr Andrews, who lives in Dubai, was due to appear on Good Morning Britain with Katie earlier this week, but despite saying he was at the airport, he failed to turn up.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office informed the ITV show that it had been assisting a British national detained in the United Arab Emirates. Lee and Katie denied he had been detained, and she backtracked on her comments regarding Lee’s international travel ban.
But as Katie sat down to film a video sharing her concerns for Lee, as she put her phone down on the table, it showed that Lee is saved in her phone as “The One”. Speaking in her video, Katie said: “The truth is, Lee has been missing for three days. The last time I heard from Lee was Wednesday night at 10 O’Clock, he was trying to go through the border in Dubai to get on a flight to me.
“Lee was trying to get through the border near Hatta and, oh God, this is so discombobulating. His location went off at 10:03, Wednesday night, that’s the last contact anyone’s had, his family and me. This is the third day now, obviously, he phoned me before the location went off. He’s in the middle of nowhere, obviously, I’m worried.”
Hatta is an enclave in Dubai, located high in the Hajar Mountains, around an hour from central Dubai. Katie went on to say that by Thursday, Lee was radio silent, and her messages were not being delivered. His family also reportedly raised concerns, prompting Katie and Lee’s family to contact the police in Dubai.
“Me and Lee are in constant contact all the time,” she said, adding that it was “worrying” that Lee’s location had been disabled. Katie explained that earlier today, she received a message saying that nobody can trace Lee in Dubai or his last location. “We’re now wondering, as far-fetched as it is, he’s a missing person,” she said, adding: “I don’t know if he’s been kidnapped.” She said that there had been no records of Lee at any prison or police station.
“We’re wondering if he’s been kidnapped; he’s definitely a missing person now,” Katie said, adding that while she wasn’t planning on speaking publicly, she felt compelled to speak out after speculation over whether Lee had been arrested. However, she reiterated that there had been no record of Andrews being detained.
Katie said it was “unsettling” that last she last spoke to Lee, on FaceTime, he had a hood on and informed her that he had been “captured, arrested or whatever,” adding: “He had ties around his hand, not handcuffs, and a hood, and he said ‘Look, they’re coming back for me,’ that is the last FaceTime call I had. Then his phone went dead.”
She explained that nobody, including the police, has managed to locate Lee in the United Arab Emirates since Wednesday night. “I hope we find him soon and have some explanations,” she said, adding: “If he has really been arrested, I just want to know it’s alright and he’s alright and what he’s been arrested for.”
