Now, the Guthrie family issued a strong reaction over the ongoing probe.

Page Six reported that Nancy is always on her daughter, Savannah’s mind. Savannah wasn’t on the Today show on the morning of May 15, 2026. Page Six reported that Savannah became emotional and broke down in tears between the commercial breaks, but was quick enough to compose herself before the cameras started to roll again. Recently, a source shared that Savannah is not back to normal, but she has been showing strength with each passing day. She was quoted as saying:

“It’s of course not ‘back to normal’ for Savannah, nor does anyone expect it to be.The grace and strength she shows each day, putting one foot in front of the other despite the pain, is truly inspirational.”

Savannah Guthrie is frustrated by the ongoing probe into Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance

According to a report by Page Six, Savannah Guthrie and her family members are disappointed and frustrated as there have been no breakthroughs. Investigators have found a few pieces of evidence, including a strand of hair, a glove found near Nancy’s house, and doorbell camera footage showing a masked man with a backpack. The Ring camera footage was released by the FBI, showing a masked man with a backpack who tried to damage the camera. An insider revealed the Guthrie family’s current mindset to Page Six. The source was quoted as saying:

“It’s incredibly difficult to grasp that there have been no new viable leads, and no significant evidence beyond the doorbell camera footage. How is that even possible?”

The Guthrie family has not yet hired any private investigator and is relying on the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI. Sources close to the FBI told Page Six that Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance remains a “major priority.” Speaking to Page Six, another source pointed out that there have been no single leads since the Ring camera footage was released by the FBI. The source said, “There’s not one single lead since that footage was released. Although you don’t see his face, you can see his eyes, we know how tall he is, there’s a recognisable backpack….come on.”

On Mother’s Day, the Today show co-anchor took to her Instagram handle to share a wholesome video featuring Nancy and her three children, Savannah, Annie, and Camron. Along with the clip, Savannah penned a heart-wrenching note for Nancy Guthrie. In the note, Savannah mentioned that they miss Nancy with every breath. She highlighted that they will not stop finding her and will never be at peace until Nancy is found. She urged people to pray for Nancy and help them in bringing Nancy home safely. She wrote:

“Mother, daughter, sister, Nonie – we miss you with every breath. We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you. We need help. Someone knows something that can make a difference. Call 1800CALLFBI. You can be anonymous, and the reward remains available. Please keep praying. Bring her home.”
