Latto Welcomes Her First Baby Days Ahead Of ‘Big Mama’s’ Release, Confirms 21 Savage As The Father

Latto has constantly been grabbing headlines since last year, especially after she seemingly confirmed her relationship with rapper, 21 Savage. Later, in March 2026, she revealed that she is pregnant. Well, it seems that Latto has finally given birth to her child, also confirming that 21 Savage is the father during the process. 

Latto gives birth to her child with 21 Savage 

Latto is officially “Big Mama.” Taking to her Instagram a while back on Monday, May 18, 2026, she revealed that she has welcomed her first child with 21 Savage. She shared a video on her account featuring not only her pregnancy journey, but also intimate clips of her with 21 Savage. At the end of the video, Latto can be heard giving birth, while spectators tell her to push. 

For those unaware, Latto revealed her pregnancy news in March 2026, when she announced her album, Big Mama. In the music video of Business & Personal, the 27-year-old also showed off her growing baby bump. Although she hadn’t confirmed who the baby’s father was at the time, she gave several hints that it was none other than 21 Savage. For instance, eagle-eyed fans noticed one shot in which Savage’s tattooed hand was visible on her bare belly. Additionally, Latto was seen flipping through a scrapbook featuring 21 Savage’s baby photos. 

In the same music video, according to a report by Page Six, Latto showed off her own tattoo, a dagger on her lower back, which matches the one on 21 Savage’s forehead. It is worth noting that Latto has not tagged 21 Savage in her Instagram post about her pregnancy. Also, 21 Savage is already a father to his sons, Kamari and Ashaad, whom he had welcomed with his rumoured wife, Keyanna Joseph. He also has a daughter named Rhian. 

Latto and 21 Savage’s relationship 

Rumours of Latto and 21 Savage’s relationship began back in 2019 and 2020. In 2021, Savage sent fans into a frenzy when he shared a picture of Latto on his Instagram Story, but deleted it shortly after. The rumours were further fuelled in 2022 when Latto got a tattoo behind her ear featuring the word “Sheyaa”. For those unaware, it is the government name of 21 Savage. 

In September 2025, Latto seemingly confirmed that she and 21 Savage were officially dating. She hinted that she and the British rapper were together during an interaction with TMZ. Reportedly, when Latto was out in New York City, TMZ caught up with her for a brief interview. At the time, she told the outlet that she was on the way to meet her “husband” for dinner. She was quoted as saying, “To go have this dinner with my husband.” When the outlet tried to confirm that Latto was indeed referring to 21 Savage by asking her if she was tired of people asking her about her relationship rumours with the rapper, she responded with:

“No. My man, my man, my man!”

Is Latto going to retire from music after embracing motherhood?

Just a few days back, on May 8, 2026, Latto took to her X (formerly Twitter) to seemingly announce that she was retiring from music. In the post, she described her album, Big Mama, as her retirement album. The announcement sent shockwaves through her fanbase, especially because the announcement came at a time when her music career was at an all-time high. For those unaware, Latto’s album, Big Mama, is supposed to drop at the end of this month, on May 29, 2026. Thanking her fans for everything, she wrote:

“5/29 My retirement album. Thank you for everything.”
