Jordan Spieth is hoping that this week’s CJ Cup Byron Nelson sees him finally get back into the winner’s circle for the first time in four years. It should help that the host course is close to his Dallas, Texas, home.

Spieth has collected seven top-25 finishes this season to make his way to No 41 in the FedEx Cup standings and 47th in the Official World Golf Ranking. But despite two T11 finishes and a T12 at the Masters, he has yet to record a top 10.

To get a win this week, he’ll have to beat another famous Texan, World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who is the defending champion and hungry for a repeat after being denied one at last week’s PGA Championship.

Spieth will tee off for the opening round at 1:43 p.m. ET alongside Chris Kirk and Sungjae Im.
