Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Monday inspected the ongoing developmental works being carried out at various ghats in Rajamahendravaram in preparation for the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu.
During the inspection, District Collector Keerthi briefed the Deputy Chief Minister on the progress of the works being undertaken at the ghats and other related infrastructure projects.
Pawan Kalyan later travelled by boat from Pushkara Ghat to Kotilingala Revu to review the arrangements on the riverfront. Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh explained the ongoing works under the Akhanda Godavari project.
The Deputy Chief Minister also reviewed the measures being implemented to tackle pollution along the ghats during the Pushkaralu. Officials informed him about the steps being taken to ensure cleanliness, crowd management and improved facilities for devotees expected to attend the mega spiritual event.
