Karl Anthony-Towns And Jordyn Woods Love Story, Five-Year Private Romance Leading To Engagement

The New York Knicks have made it to the NBA finals. Notably, it was Karl Anthony-Towns and OG Anunoby who contributed a lot to the team’s latest victory on May 25, 2026. The dream was supposed to be accomplished in 2025, but it did not happen after being defeated by the Pacers. Meanwhile, Karl recorded 19 points, 14 rebounds, three assists, two blocks, and two steals.

The Knicks are currently preparing to face the Oklahoma City Thunder or San Antonio Spurs in the finals, starting from June 3, 2026. On the other hand, the victory of the Knicks has once again brought Karl Anthony-Towns into the spotlight. He has been playing for the Knicks since 2024. Karl Anthony-Towns and Jordyn Woods initially shared a close friendship

Karl Anthony-Towns and Jordyn Woods reportedly met each other through a mutual friend. Back in 2021, the former said on the series, Regular-ish, that he and Jordyn shared a close friendship in the beginning. The duo’s bond slowly started taking a different turn until it became romantic by May 2020. Karl also addressed his relationship with Woods by saying:

“It just so happened, the COVID came and kind of brought its challenges and it kind of forced us to either pick where our relationship was going to go as friends or something more. And we chose the latter.”

The romance was made official a few months later in August 2020 with a lineup of pictures. The snaps were taken near a beach, where Jordyn was spotted holding her partner while they posed with each other.

Karl Anthony-Towns and Jordyn Woods continued appearing with each other on various occasions after the relationship became official. Notably, the duo confirmed in December 2025 that they are engaged. Although they did not share a lot of details, the pair posted a few snaps from the proposal on Instagram. Karl popped the question at a rooftop bar called Overstory in New York City.

Before their engagement, Karl and Jordyn spoke about each other in multiple interviews. Jordyn told PEOPLE in 2023 that it is friendship and trust that have helped her and Karl to maintain a strong relationship for all this time. Woods said that she and Anthony-Towns have been through a lot and have witnessed each other facing different situations over the years. Jordyn also stated that gifts have been another way through which she and Karl have frequently expressed their feelings. Woods addressed the same and said:

“We love gift giving and… What is it? The love language? The love language is quality time. We love everything. I’m excited. Every holiday, we like to really go large for each other. He does so much for me. I do what I can for him. I want to say it’s a lot. So when it’s time to show that appreciation, we like to go all out.”

While she is known for being featured on television, Jordyn Woods has also pursued a career in modelling. She has worked with the popular agency, Wilhelmina, and also walked at the New York Fashion Week show in 2017. Jordyn is additionally popular for launching other ventures, including an app named FRSTPLACE. Jordyn Woods has portrayed the lead in the famous reality TV series, Life of Kylie. She has been featured on other shows like Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Hip Hop Squares, and The Masked Singer.
