Tyson Fury has announced that his next fight will take place on Saturday August 1 in Dublin.

Fury’s warm-up fight – with the opponent yet to be announced – will take place four months before his much-anticipated heavyweight clash with Anthony Joshua in November, with the latter set to face Albanian Kristian Prenga in Riyadh on July 25.

Frank Warren – who told Sky Sports that Fury’s next opponent is set to be announced this week – already has an IBO super-lightweight fight scheduled for August 1 in Dublin between Pierce O’Leary and Mark Chamberlain, suggesting Fury will join the card.
