Kakinada:A bridge linking Bhimavaram and Dongapindi village collapsed on Saturday while a sand-laden lorry was crossing it. No one was injured.
The bridge provided access to the village, aqua ponds and agricultural fields. Its collapse disrupted transport connectivity in the area.
Though a small portion of the bridge remains intact, some two-wheeler riders continue to use the route, posing a safety risk. Residents urged authorities to restore connectivity at the earliest.
