Kakinada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday warmly interacted with a differently-abled youth during the ‘Pedala Sevalo’ programme at Chamavaram in Tuni Assembly constituency of Kakinada district.
The youth was overwhelmed when the Chief Minister personally approached him, placed a hand on his shoulder and posed for a photograph. The youth’s parents told the Chief Minister that their son was a great admirer of him.
Moved by the interaction, Chandrababu Naidu directed the Kakinada District Collector to ensure necessary assistance and support is extended to the differently-abled youth on behalf of the government.
Later, the Chief Minister visited stalls set up by various government departments near the public meeting venue. He reviewed exhibits and sought details about crops being cultivated under agriculture and horticulture initiatives in the region.
Naidu also instructed officials to promote the use of micronutrients and intensify efforts to encourage natural farming practices among farmers to improve agricultural sustainability and productivity.
