Twisha Sharma’s death case keeps getting more and more complicated with every passing day. Amid that, some new questions have emerged that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is now trying to answer. It has been almost 20 days since Twisha passed away at her Bhopal residence. And now, several teams of the CBI are trying to unravel the mystery behind her passing.

While a team has moved to recreate the death with an 80 kg dummy, the other is trying to figure out who helped Samarth while he was on the run. Additionally, a team is communicating with doctors to better understand whether there was any foul play in the actress’s medical reports. 

Who helped Samarth Singh hide after Twisha Sharma’s death?

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has significantly sped up the investigation into the high-profile murder of Twisha Sharma. And currently her husband, Samarth Singh and mother-in-law, Giribala Singh, are the prime suspects in the case. However, while the investigation continues, CBI has now turned their focus to finding out who helped Samarth while he ran away after the actress’s death. CBI is also investigating his movements after her death and during the time the Madhya Pradesh Police were on the lookout for him.

For the unversed, Samarth told CBI officials that he was in Bhopal for two days after Twisha Sharma’s death and later left for Jabalpur. He claimed that he remained there until May 22, 2026, the day he surrendered in a local court. However, amid that, the CBI is dealing with questions regarding who assisted Samarth Singh on the run. According to sources, the disclosure has shifted the focus of the investigation towards identifying those who may have assisted Samarth during his time on the run. CBI is now examining who provided him accommodation, transport, or any other logistical support in Bhopal and Jabalpur. 

The CBI is also questioning some doctors in the case of Twisha Sharma’s death

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is also expected to question some doctors linked to Twisha Sharma’s case. This has come in the wake of claims made by Giribala Singh, who has alleged that Twisha was a drug addict and consumed such substances in large quantities. According to Twisha’s mother-in-law, this was also one of the reasons doctors had approved a Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTP) procedure. CBI will also be looking into Twisha’s last consultations with a psychiatrist. The CBI is likely to examine both the treating doctors and the psychiatrist to verify Giribala Singh’s claims and assess whether they are supported by medical records and professional assessments.

The investigators are expected to cross-check every disclosure made by Giribala and Samarth while in remand. They will also cross-check medical documents and witness statements as part of efforts to reconstruct the circumstances leading up to Twisha’s death. For the unversed, Twisha’s ashes were immersed in the Ganga River in Rishikesh on May 29, 2026.

CBI arrived at Twisha Sharma’s Bhopal home to recreate the actress’s death with an 80 kg dummy

As previously informed, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is using an 80 kg dummy to recreate the timeline after Twisha Sharma’s death. A team of CBI officials arrived at the former district judge, Giribala Singh, on Monday, June 1, 2026. Giribala and her son, Samarth Singh, are the prime accused in the Twisha Sharma dowry-harassment case. As part of the ongoing probe, the team used a dummy body to gather crucial evidence in the presence of accused Giribala and Samarth. The Bhopal District Court sent the former judge, mother-in-law, and Twisha’s husband to a five-day CBI remand until June 2, 2026.
