JoJo Siwa was rushed to doctors with concussion after falling off a golf cart.
The Celebrity Big Brother star has had quite a tricky run of it lately, having fallen off a golf cart in a terrifying accident. She had tried to turn left but the wheel got stuck and she ended up falling off the vehicle.
As well as that, she has been battling a nasty eye infection, which is unrelated, and has had to take a little bit of time off from her cruise rehearsals in order to heal after the back to back health woes.
Giving fans an update on TikTok, she explained that she had her eye injury and also had concussion too from the incident.
“Things aren’t going too well, if you don’t want to see a scary looking eye, look away now. This is the best it’s been, hopefully it’ll be on the mend in the next few days. And on top of this, I also have a concussion, I’m a mess,” she said.
Later, JoJo also explained how she had the mishap on the golf cart, but insisted the two injuries weren’t linked.
“Long story short, fell off the golf cart, that’s how I got the concussion,” she explained. “I was turning left, wheel got locked, the golf cart malfunctioned, threw me off. Went on my neck, hit my head and flipped over. This came up a couple of days over, they think it’s completely unrelated which is good. A gnarly eye infection.
“Due to the concussion, I am basically on bed and couch rest for the next three days or so. I went to three doctors, not yesterday, the day before. Good news about the accident is I’m really lucky how I ended up, I could have been seriously, seriously injured, I’m very lucky how I came out of it.”
It comes after JoJo, 22, revealed she dreams of becoming a mum amid her relationship with 33-year-old boyfriend, Chris Hughes. When one fan asked, “What are your dreams that you have not yet achieved?” JoJo responded with a picture of herself with children at Disneyland and said: “To be a mom.”
JoJo has hinted about the pair having children for months, previously sharing to The Mirror: “I have names that I really, really like and that I’ve spoken to him about. But I’ve never said them publicly.”
JoJo and Chris met on Celebrity Big Brother, while the Dance Moms star was still in a relationship with Kath Ebbs. They split after the show and the social media icon soon started dating the Love Island favourite.
