Even the Laker Girls will have a uniform patch.
The Lakers on Thursday announced a new multi-year partnership with Japan-based retailer Daiso, which will entail the Daiso logo being included on the Laker Girls uniform during select regular-season games — the first time a branded patch will be featured on the Lakers’ dance team’s uniform.
Daiso will also be the presenting sponsor of Laker Girls auditions.
“We are thrilled to welcome Daiso to the Los Angeles Lakers family with an innovative partnership that connects the retailer to the Laker Girls,” Lakers president of business operations Lon Rosen said in a statement. “Recognized as the premier sports entertainment team, the Laker Girls have both a global and local appeal that connects Daiso to one of the most influential and memorable elements of the Lakers gameday experience.”
The announcement came two-and-a-half months after the franchise announced it opened up global sponsorship rights for their jersey patch partnership for the 2026-27 season and beyond.

South Korean-based food brand Bibigo was the Lakers’ jersey sponsor from 2021-26 after San Francisco-based e-commerce platform Wish was the Lakers’ jersey sponsor from 2017-21.
