Hyderabad: Union defence minister Rajnath Singh will visit Hyderabad on June 12 and 13.

As part of the BJP’s outreach to intellectuals, he is scheduled to attend an ‘intellectual meet’ in Secunderabad as chief guest. The interaction is aimed at expanding the party’s engagement with the intelligentsia in Telangana.

On June 13, Singh will serve as reviewing officer for the Combined Graduation Parade of the 217th course at the Air Force Academy, Dundigal. The event marks the completion of pre-commissioning training for flight cadets of the Indian Air Force.

He will confer the President’s Commission on graduating trainees and award ‘Wings’ and ‘Brevets’ to cadets and officers, including those from the Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard.

Meanwhile, BJP national president Nitin Nabin is expected to visit the State from June 17 for three days. He is likely to attend a state executive meeting and hold virtual interactions with party functionaries, including district presidents.

The visits are part of the party’s organisational and outreach activities in Telangana.
