Chloe Lewis shared a heartbreaking tribute to Jake Hall following his funeral last week. The former couple first met as teenagers, and went on to date for years.

Jake Hall’s grieving ex-girlfriend Chloe Lewis has shared an heartbreaking tribute to him after attending his “unconventional” funeral.

TOWIE star-turned-fashion designer Jake died at the age of 35 after crashing through a glass door at his rental apartment in Majorca, Spain, following a night out with friends last month.

Friends and family said goodbye on Friday, through an afterparty that followed a church service attended by the likes of his former castmates and famous faces, including Boxer Derek Chisora.

Chloe, who dated the late star on-and-off for years, has since left a floral tribute featuring a throwback photo as she remembered their time together.

She wrote: “I honestly wish I could change what happened. Someone who I just thought would be in my life regardless of where we was in life. I truly hope one day I get to see you again. I’ll look after your people & hand on my heart, I’ll LOVE you forever.

“I’m so sorry. I heard this song on your page after losing you & it was completely your soul & it makes me feel warm inside. So I’ll listen to it forever. All my love always Jakey.”

The unique wake took place in Shoreditch across three floors with his devastated loved ones desperate to give him a proper club send-off. Maverick Sabre and Tom Grennan were among those performing.

Before that, a service was held at St Mary’s Church in Wanstead, east London. Outside the church, a crowd of mourners gathered and a screen was erected for those who could not get a seat.

Last month, Chloe broke her silence and penned a loving tribute to the man she described as her “first love”, after taking time away from social media following his death.

Posting a tribute on social media, she said at the time: “My first love, my childhood sweetheart. A love that taught me so much about life and myself, and even more so now your presence is no longer here. A complete pain in the a**e most of the time, but always with the purest heart and the greatest soul. You touched so many lives and meant well in everything you did.

“I knew who you were… and I know what you wanted from life… a happy home and a loving family. Being the best dad was the most important thing to you & we always use to speak about it. You did that, Jake, with pride and made it look so easy and effortless. Like I knew you would.”

Chloe and Jake first met when they were 16 years old and she went on to give a full run down of their first encounter. After joining TOWIE, she claimed that the show “took over our relationship”, which left her heartbroken.

She continued: “We had our ups and downs, but we always knew how to come back to each other… until it was all too late. Life got in the way, and we separated after spending 10 years together. We didn’t love wrong, we just didn’t know how to hold on to it.

“The most talented and creative person I knew, from such a young age — starting Prevu in your mum and dad’s garage. Me and Mummy were always your No.1 fans.”
