The Fantasy Britney Spears Pride Edition keeps all the signature scent notes of the original fragrance, but comes in limited edition Pride packaging which features vibrant rainbow colours. Britney said: “The LGBTQIA+ community continues to inspire me and bring me joy. I am thrilled to be part of your Pride in this way.”
Not only is the new Fantasy Pride Edition a collectable scent for fans, but it gives back to the community with every bottle that’s bought. As in previous years, the purchase of the Fantasy Pride Edition will continue to support LGBTQIA+ mental health, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Switchboard, a vital national LGBTQIA+ helpline that offers confidential, non-judgmental, and non-directive support.
Despite the different packaging, the scent itself remains the same, bringing top notes of red lychee, golden quince and kiwi, with heart notes of cupcake accord, jasmine and white chocolate orchid. The base notes are creamy musk, orris root and sensual woods, creating the bright, sweet and playful fragrance that defined a whole generation.
The Fantasy Pride Edition is currently priced at £22 for 100ml at Superdrug, making it an ultra-affordable way to support and celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community this Pride month. If you’re looking for more signature scents from the 00s, there are plenty of others that will instantly transport you back to the era of Juicy Couture tracksuits and oversized sunglasses.
The DKNY Be Delicious Eau de Parfum was a huge hit with those who loved fresh, zesty scents, with notes of fresh apple and florals. It’s currently available at Boots for just £40 for a 50ml bottle, making it much more affordable than modern designer fragrances.
Alternatively, the Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Eau de Parfum is another sweet-scented perfume with wild berries, jasmine, sandalwood, and vanilla notes.
