وأفادت الوزارة في بيان تلي عبر التلفزيون الوطني بأن “الحصيلة الأولية لمحاولة التسلل الخبيثة بلغت الآتي: في صفوف الأصدقاء، 13 شهيدا، من بينهم 11 عنصرا من قوات الدفاع والأمن واثنان من المدنيين، وأربعة جرحى. وفي صفوف الأعداء، تم القضاء على 22 من المهاجمين، وتوقيف نحو 20 مشتبها بهم”.
