Samir Soni Reveals How He Got Panic Attack On His First Date With Wife Neelam Kothari, ‘Drenched In’

Neelam Kothari has been one of the most famous stars in the Hindi movie industry. She ruled the industry back in the 1980s and 1990s. Well, in recent times, she has been away from movies, but has been a member of the Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. Neelam has also started her own YouTube channel and has been happily married to Samir Soni. The actor shared that on their first date, he had a panic attack, and after that, they never went on any date.

Neelam Kothari’s husband, Samir Soni, in one of the YouTube videos of his wife’s channel, revealed that after he had a panic attack, he had never been on any other date. Samir was asked about his first date and revealed how he had got a panic attack. The Hum Saath Saath Hain star then shared that they had just been on one date. The actress revealed that they had just had two dates in their lives, but they do go out with Ahana, their daughter. Neelam revealed that their romantic dinner date only happened once. Samir had added that Neelam used to talk only over the phone for about three months. The couple just had one meeting. In his words:

“Yes, I remember. I can never forget it. You say, I want to see if you remember. I remember very well. I don’t remember which coffee shop we went to. Right after reaching there, I got a panic attack and was drenched in sweat. We were drinking coffee, that’s why I asked you if we could sit in the car. You made me so nervous on our first date itself.”

Earlier, Samir Soni revealed meeting Neelam Kothari at a party. Earlier, in an interview with Ujjawal Trivedi on his YouTube channel. He had shared that a tarot card reader had hinted that the actress would be the lady in his life. Samir Soni had shared that he had met someone who was a tarot card reader. In his words:

“I don’t know if she paid him. That person told me that there will be a woman in my life whose name starts with an N and she would be working in jewellery.”

Samir Soni further shared that, in Neelam’s time, she was still one of the prettiest actresses; in fact, she is one of the prettiest stars even today. Samir had revealed to his friends that she would be out of his league and that he should not try to date her. The actor then shared that he contemplated a lot before calling Neelam Kothari. He kept asking himself why he was doing that to himself. He had called the actress the next day, but she did not pick up. However, the next morning, his ego kicked in, and he texted her. His ego was hit as he wrote to Neelam, “You don’t believe in returning calls” and the actress had written that she did not know that it was him. In his words:

“However, one and a half years later, fate brought the two closer again, and this time, at a Diwali party. At the bash, Ekta introduced us. I told Neelam I normally don’t say this, but I think you are very cute. Then I said I would call you and I left. I didn’t even have her number.”
