Peter Andre has revealed the incredible gift he has decided to give his daughter Princess as the budding reality TV star enters her the final year of her teens
Peter Andre has decided to gift his daughter Princess with a holiday for her 19th birthday. The Mysterious Girl singer, 53, is father to Junior, 21, and Princess with ex-wife Katie Price.
Amid her busy showbiz career, which has seen her filming two series of her successful reality show The Princess Diaries, Peter has sent the reality star on a trip with her friends and spoken out about just how proud he is of his children.
Writing in his new! magazine column, he said: “By the time you read this, my beautiful daughter Princess will have just turned 19. I sent her away with some friends on holiday.
“A present from me. It’s brilliant to see both Princess and Junior growing up and becoming beautiful human beings, I am so proud of all that they are doing.
Just weeks ago, former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star, who is now married to Emily MacDonagh and has Millie, 12, Theo nine, as well as two-year-old Belle with her, celebrated his eldest’s 21st birthday.
At the time, he paid an emotional tribute to Junior, who has carved out a career in the music industry, as he admitted it doesn’t feel like so much time has passed since his birth.
He said: “We’re just a few days away from Junior’s 21st birthday – I can’t believe it! I’ll keep you updated on how it goes. He doesn’t know what he’s doing yet.”
“I have a wedding that I was meant to go to on that day, but I’m not going now simply so I can be on call for my son! Emily’s going to the wedding, though – it’s a dear family friend but I just wanted to be there for Junior.
“I have got him something really special for his birthday because it’s a big one. He’s still my baby boy. I love him so much and I’m so proud of the gentleman he’s becoming. He’s a kind-hearted soul, respectful and polite and that’s all I can ask for. It certainly doesn’t feel like 21 years since I was holding him in the hospital. Time flies!”
Over the last few years, Junior has begun to carve out his own career in music and has also appeared on his sister’s reality show The Princess Diaries.
The pair are also reportedly set to join forces for Celebrity Race Across The World, and it was recently claimed that they may also be about to launch their own podcast, a move that would put them in direct competition with the likes of Loose Women stars Olivia Attwood and GK Barry, as well as Gogglebox star Joe Baggs – not to mention their own mother.
