‘Paper Rings’ singer Taylor is thought to be marrying the NFL star at Madison Square Gardens on 4 July. Details of the lavish ceremony have been kept under wraps, including the guestlist.
But if the current speculated list is to be believed, then the wedding is going to be a veritable ‘who’s who’ of A-listers. From collaborators such as Ed Sheeran and Jack Antonoff to national treasure Graham Norton and even global icon Stevie Nicks, who is thought to be performing as well, the celebrities headed to the wedding are wide ranging. But there are a few notable exceptions.
Amid friend fallouts and feuds, some people who may have once been a lock in for an invite are now thought to have been left off the guest list. Here is a round up of some of the biggest names…
Blake Lively
Blake and Taylor used to be best friends. They were so close that Taylor is godmother to Blake’s four children, James, Inez, Betty and Olin, whom she shares with Ryan Reynolds. Taylor also included the names of Blake’s children in her songs on folklore, as a special nod to her friend.
But amid Blake’s legal battle with Justin Baldoni, she and Taylor appear to have fallen out and the actress is thought to have not received an invite to the wedding.
A source told US Weekly : “Blake understands why she wouldn’t be invited and that it would be a media frenzy. She also understands that she and Taylor don’t have the same level of friendship they once had.”
Page Six also reported that Blake is not on the guest list. “There hasn’t been an olive branch when it comes to their friendship,” a source said. “And Taylor hasn’t extended a wedding invitation to Blake.” The Mirror went to Blake’s representatives for comment.
Keleigh Teller
It has been reported that Keleigh Teller, the wife of Top Gun: Maverick star Miles Teller, will not be at the wedding. Keleigh and Taylor used to be close friends, but both TMZ and Page Six have reported that Keleigh was not invited to the wedding, as her friendship with the singer “cooled”.
Their friendship is said to have become strained over several months, and Keleigh has stopped liking Taylor’s posts, leading many to wonder if they’ve grown apart. The Mirror went to Keleigh’s reps for comment.
Charli XCX
Back in 2018, when Charli XCX opened for Taylor on her Reputation Tour, it wouldn’t have been unreasonable to think that when Taylor got married, Charli would be there, as they seemed pretty friendly.
Cut to 2026 and there is a rumoured feud between the two singers. Charli was alleged to have written a diss track about Taylor. Her song ‘Sympathy is a Knife’ was about how she was insecure around another women and included the lyric “I hope they break up quickly”. Some thought this was about Taylor, written amid her relationship with Matty Healy, who is a bandmate of Charli’s husband George Daniel.
Taylor’s song ‘Actually Romantic’ is thought to be a response to this. Fans suggested that the “boring Barbie” she was signing about hating her is Charli. As such, she is not expected to have been invited. The Mirror went to Charli’s reps for comment.
Harry Styles
Though his partner Zoe Kravitz is thought to be heading to MSG for Taylor’s nuptials, Harry Styles will not. Whether he would have been invited or gone along as a plus one is not certain, as he is one of Taylor’s ex boyfriends, but, as announced back in January, he has prior commitments.
Rather than fly out to New York, Harry will be in Wembley, performing at the stadium as part of his historic residency there. He will be joined by special guest Shania Twain, so it seems she will not be joining the other country singers, such as Tim McGraw, expected to be at Taylor’s wedding.
Maisie Peters
Maisie opened for Taylor on the Eras Tour. Many openers, including the Haim sisters, have reportedly been invited to the wedding, but Maisie has confirmed she was not. She told the Zach Sang Show: “I’ve not received a sourdough loaf or a wedding invite. I think that’s OK.”
Karlie Kloss
Karlie and Taylor used to be bezzie mates, as Karlie was part of Taylor’s 2016 ‘Squad’. But their relationship has been up and down in the years since, as Karlie was said to have taken Scooter Braun’s side in their feud over who owns Taylor’s original records.
As such, some have reported that Karlie was not invited to the wedding. But TMZ have also reported that she and Taylor “quashed” their beef and “buried the hatchet”, leading to an invite to the Big Day. But Vulture suggested that it would “hard to believe that two squashed their bad blood” and didn’t expect her to turn up.
Zohran Mamdani
He may have managed to get tickets to the Knicks Finals and the World Cup but New York Mayor Mamdani has not scored an invite to the wedding of the year. He seemed a bit sad about it, saying: “I wish them a lovely wedding. I’ll listen to ‘Only the Young’ at home on my own.”
