Millie Mackintosh has officially moved on from Hugo Taylor after sharing a heartbreaking update. The Made in Chelsea alum, 36, who shares daughters, Sienna, six, and Aurelia, four, with her former co-star, 40, split up with Hugo five months ago.
The couple, who confirmed they had called it a day in February, remain committed to co-parenting their children. However, Millie burst into tears a she shared a video of herself getting the keys to her new home this week, which she has just moved into.
Wearing a long floral dress, in floods of tears, she took in her new surroundings, hinting at the toll her marriage breakdown had taken on her. Captioning her short video, she shared: “Sixth months ago you didn’t know you’d be ok. Today you got the keys to your new home.”
Millie was flooded by support from her legion of loyal fans after watching the emotional update, as one replied: “Now it’s officially time to make beautiful, magical new memories. Enjoy this new chapter of your journey.”
Meanwhile, another responded: “Congratulations! This is the beginning of a beautiful new chapter for you and your gorgeous girls.”
The Made In Chelsea stars got married seven years ago, but decided to end their fairytale romance earlier this year, sending shockwaves through the showbiz world.
A source close to Millie and Hugo exclusively told The Mirror that the split was equally agreed on both sides and they remain on good terms. “Their split was very much amicable. There’s no real reason for their split; it just happens sometimes,” they said.
Last month Millie dropped the biggest hint yet she’s dating following her split from Hugo. She shared a reel on social media showing off different outfits for different occasions – including one captioned: “Date night with a guy.”
However, last year, the mum-of-two revealed that she had been open about her sexuality for the first time in her life and had discussed it with her husband too,
Speaking on podcast Saturn Returns about her drinking and how she had used it as an excuse to kiss other women. Millie shared: “I had crushes on girls at school and I just didn’t have the awareness to go, ‘I like girls as well.’ I’ve explored a lot of my relationship to women. I was bullied so I definitely have intimacy issues with women, but there’s this attraction as well.”
Insisting that it hadn’t affected her relationship with Hugo, she continued: “”Obviously I’m married to a man. It’s not something that affects our relationship at all now but looking back I realise that was one of the reasons I drank in a destructive way, because there was a part of myself I didn’t understand.
“I didn’t know how to express it and I felt scared to express it. Every time I would drink I would just keep doing it [kissing women], even if I was in a relationship.”
