Lee Andrews’ ex-wife, Dina Taji, has voiced her concerns about sending his dog to Katie Price in the UK after taking in the pet when she heard he’d been locked up in jail for the second time this year
Lee Andrew’s ex-wife has shared her concerns about sending the dog he bought with Katie Price back to the glamour model in the UK, after taking in their pet when he was sent to jail again.
Earlier this month, Lee’s exDina Taji revealed that she had rescued the £2,000 pooch that he had purchased with Katie in Dubai before he was arrested for the second time in a matter of weeks. But as Lee was thrown behind bars again, his dog was “abandoned” with Katie thousand of miles away back home in the UK.
Katie and Lee signed a contract to purchase a male pomsky – a cross between a Pomeranian and Siberian Husky, earlier this month. With both of the dog’s parents out of action, Lee’s animal-loving ex wife reached out and offered to help take in the animal.
While she didn’t name Katie directly, Dina said she was now concerend about sending the dog to ‘the person’ in the UK.
She told followers: “I want to hear your opinion and anything that you would like to share with me regarding this dog that I have with me right now,” she said. Dina added: “Because honestly, I’m receiving a lot of messages and I’m starting to find things out that I didn’t know before. I had no idea.
In recent years, Katie has been slammed for her treatment of animals, with five dogs, a horse and a chameleon all dying in her care. PETA even hit out at Katie and offered her £5,000 to stop keeping pets.
Revealing how she came to ‘save’ the animal, Dina said:”When I found out this person got locked up, the first thing that came to mind was, ‘ Oh my God, where’s this dog? Okay, I need to save this dog now. This person is in jail.’
“Immediately, I got the dog. Okay, I reached out. Where’s the dog? I’m gonna take it. I’m gonna make sure it’s safe. Now I’m receiving a lot of messages, and new information is coming to me surfacing that I should not send this dog to the UK.”
Dina went on to say that she rescues cats as well as “any animal” that she sees suffering, so she questioned what was best for the dog. She added: “I’m always gonna do what’s best for the animal. OK, and the person who wants me to send the dog to the UK, I don’t know them. I don’t know them.
“So all of this information, now I’m starting to receive. I need to investigate. I need to understand what is going on. I’m trying to communicate, and I’m trying to understand things and everything, but we’re not getting there.
“I am gonna have to go. I have to go to the municipality. I have to get advice from them and I would like to understand what is going to be the best move moving forward with it all.”
Katie and Dina previously met up in Dubai when it was claimed that she was questioning her marriage to Lee. In a video shared on social media, Katie said: “Women stick together, and I came to Dina about one of the cases because I thought, is Dina involved?
“Then obviously we had a cup of tea as girls do, we’ve had a long chat and that’s for us to know and for you to find out in the future. On that note I’m glad we met.”
Dina dded “Just out of respect, if there’s anything I wanted to share and kind of warn her about anything it would be woman-to-woman, face-to-face. don’t care about coming on here and all this noise that’s happening.”
