Enak Kopitiam

Named after the Malay word for “delicious”, Enak does one of Perth’s most earnest impressions of a kopitiam: the bustling Chinese-style coffee shops found across South-East Asia. The handiwork of owners and chefs Zhong Chong and Merlyn Tanuwijaya offer plenty of opportunities to yell enak: from comforting toasts glued together with kaya or sardine sambal, to cauldrons of soupy hor fun.

Good to know: During weekends, buy takeaway kuih (rice flour desserts and cakes) at the same as you order to avoid queuing a second time.
