Lidl has shared an early glimpse of what shoppers can expect in its upcoming Special Buy deals next month. On Sunday, August 9, the budget supermarket will add a range of clothing items and accessories to its popular Middle Aisle in stores across the UK.
One piece of clothing customers will be able to buy is Lidl’s Esmara Ladies’ Green Linen-Blend Dress for £6.99. The less-than-£10 dress could be ideal for anyone wanting to keep cool as the warm summer weather continues, as it is made from “lightweight linen-viscose blend fabric”.
Lidl says that the dress features a “relaxed fit in a modern midi length”, with a round neckline and a “decorative knot and long side slits.” It is 87% viscose and 13% linen and comes in small, medium, or large.
The £6.99 dress could be a budget-friendly alternative for anyone who likes the look of the BOSS Green Erlays Midi Dress, which is available at Next for £159, but would prefer not to spend more than they need to. Both dresses come in khaki green and have short sleeves, a round neckline, side slits, and a decorative side knot.
However, opting for the similar-looking version at Lidl would save shoppers around £152. The £159 dress at Next is made from 95% modal and 5% elastane, and it is available to buy online in sizes eight to fourteen.

For men, there is the Grey Linen-Blend Shirt for £7.99, which also comes in a blue and stripe pattern. Another pick is the Esmara Men’s Dark Grey Linen Blend Trousers for £8.99.
