Nemanja Ubovic, the center-forward of the Olympic champion Serbia, has officially become a member of Primorac Kotor.
Today, the runner-up in the 2026 VRL League announced that it had signed a contract with the 35-year-old player.
Ubovic has played for Beograd, Vojvodina, Barceloneta, Brescia, OSC Budapest, Sabadell, Ferencvaros and Vouliagmeni. He won the 2014 Champions League and the European Super Cup playing for Barceloneta, the Euro Cup with Brescia two years later, as well as trophies in the national competitions in Spain and Hungary.
Besides the Olympic gold in Paris, Ubovic has won several medals with the senior and the junior national team of Serbia.
Ubovic will replace his teammate from Serbia’s team at the Paris Games, Nemanja Vico. Ubovic’s namesake left Primorac and joined A-Polo Sport Management (Georgia).
Vladan Spaic comes to Ubovic’s position in the Vouliagmeni team.
This summer, Primorac changed the head coach. Vido Lompar, who has worked at the club for years, replaced Athanasios Kechagias.
Three new players have arrived: Nemanja Ubovic, goalkeeper Aleksandro Kralj (EVK Zaibas) and Dusan Banicevic (Panathinaikos). A few additions are yet to be confirmed.
