While her marriage to Spencer Matthews is going strong, Vogue Williams admitted she had recently given some thought to what she would do if she ever found herself single again
Vogue Williams has revealed she’s thought about what would happen if her marriage ever hit the rocks. The 40-year-old presenter is married to former Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, with whom she shares three children and is expecting a fourth.
For the next two weeks, the Irish presenter is filling in for Amanda Holden on Heart Radio Breakfast alongside Jamie Theakston. During her first show on Monday (August 3), she made an admission about her love life after finding herself intrigued by one listener’s revelation.
The caller, Zahida, was already familiar to Jamie after previously appearing on the show. She revealed she is an Uber driver who plays matchmaker between passengers and her daughter.
While Jamie admitted he wasn’t completely sold on her motives, his co-host was far more enthusiastic about Zahida’s “great idea”. After hearing more about the listener’s matchmaking efforts, Vogue admitted she had considered what she would do if she ever found herself single again.
“I have to say there is no better way to meet somebody,” she shared. “I’ve never used the apps before and I was only saying the other day that if ever broke up with my husband, I’d never date again, but maybe I’ll just get in touch with you,” she added, laughing. “That’s amazing.”
The presenter first met Spencer in 2017 while filming the reality show The Jump. He proposed the following February during a performance of The Lion King, and the couple married in June 2018 at his family’s Glen Affric estate.
They now share three children; Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and Otto, four and announced in April that they are expecting baby number four.
Recently opening up about family life, Spencer admitted he would love to have five children, although Vogue has since revealed she doesn’t feel the same.
He told Closer magazine: “I like the sound of baby number five. Vogue’s Irish, you see. It won’t be too long before she wants a fifth, I’m sure of it. I can’t wait!”.
However, while discussing baby names suggested by listeners on her podcast My Therapist Ghosted Me, one person joked she could “save the crazy names for baby five”.
Replying to the comment, she said: “There is no baby number five – no, no. I can’t… even people are like, ‘Oh congrats’, like looking at me like I’m a complete weirdo having a fourth child, they’re like, ‘Jesus Christ, give it a rest would you?’
“So no, there won’t be any baby number five because I don’t think I’d be up for it.”
In a more recent episode, Vogue told listeners that the name the couple have chosen for their fourth child is “mad”.
She revealed: “The name we’ve chosen is f***ed, it’s mad. Joanne (McNally her podcast co-host) flinched at the name and it made me go, ‘Oh?'”
Joanne replied: “Yes, I did. I mean, it’s a big name. Like, at the time, Theodore was a heavy hitter, and I know you like a crazy name. I like names too, I like naming shows but you like naming babies. I will admit I was a bit taken aback.”
