Helen Flanagan has issued a plea for advice from her followers as she opens up about her daughter’s health issue and reveals she is ‘really stressed’ right now
Helen Flanagan has revealed she is ‘stressed’ as issues a plea to followers to help her manage her 11-year-old daughter Matilda’s skin issue.
The former Coronation Street star, 35, shared on social media that he life was looking a little ‘manic’ and had recently taken her daughter to the doctors because of her concern about her skin discolouration that was taking place in the sun.
“So it’s back to everything being manic, even though I’m really stressed with the kids, I’m so much better because I don’t have time to think when I’m with the kids because all I get is ‘Mum, mum, mum!’ I don’t have time to think about myself because I’m so busy thinking about the kids. And I love that.
“Also, my little girl has basically…it’s not permanent, apparently it goes, but she’s had…in the sun basically there’s more discoloration in her skin. I took her to the doctors, I don’t know the correct name of it, but it is something that actually goes. But she’s getting more self-conscious of it and I wondered if anyone could recommend a good foundation.”
Helen has three children with her former partner Scott Sinclair, the couple was together from 2009 until 2022, when they parted ways after 13 years.
The couple now co-parents their three children Matilda, Delilah, 8, and Charlie, 5, and Helen is currently single. She revealed recently that she was hoping that her next relationship would be with her husband.
The mum of three, 35, said: “I do feel that when I do next have my next relationship, and I think that when I have my next relationship, I think it will be my husband.”
Speaking candidly on Lewis Nicholls’ Life Stories podcast, she added: “I think it will be the real thing. I will choose to protect it and I will keep that private. I will probably say who that person is, but I will want to protect it. I will want to keep it private.”
She continued: “I’ll want to keep it really special, because I kind of feel like everybody’s always got something to say. My next relationship I have I think will be my husband, because I won’t be wasting my time, really. I will want to choose to protect it, definitely.”
Just a couple of months ago she opened up about her love and sex life in some candid posts on social media.
One post read: “When it comes to sex I’m not a casual girl – I’m a lover girl/wifey and I do get attracted. I think guys that ghost girls after sleeping with them are big rat fats lol.”
Sharing what type of guy she likes – or would hope to meet in the future – Helen said: “I go for someone that I find exciting. I go for a soul connection. Someone that makes me feel understood. I look for the male version of me.”
