Shweta tried proving her worth to Karan and claimed that it was her ex-husbands, Raja Chaudhary and Abhinav Kohli who had betrayed her. She even alleged to have caught them both cheating on her.

The actress had worn a purple-hued gown while Karan Johar was heard saying, “Jhooth pakadne main aap maahir nahi ho sakti.” Referring to her ex-husbands, Shweta had tears in her eyes when she spoke about their disloyalty. She said:
“Apne patiyon ko cheat karte hue maine hi pakda tha.”

He had claimed that Shweta was in an extramarital affair with her Kasautii Zindagii Kay co-star Cezanne Khan. He also claimed that she was in an affair with multiple men.
Raja Chaudhary, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, had shared that when Shweta was working with Cezanne, she was staying in his house. Even a common friend of the duo had confessed that Shweta used to go there with him (Cezanne). Raja claimed that even Cezanne had accepted being in an extramarital affair with Shweta. For the unversed, Shweta Tiwari first got married to Raja Chaudhary back in 1998. It was in 2007 that both of them got separated. Shweta then got married to actor Abhinav Kohli back in July 2013. She had claimed that both of them had physically assaulted her. Raja Chaudhary was further asked about what made him doubt that Shweta Tiwari was cheating on him during their marriage. Raja said Shweta used to tell him that she was going on a shoot, and the next day newspapers revealed that the actress was in some showroom in Delhi. In his words:
“What all does this indicate? In a relationship, you’re lying and relying on this person with whom you’re working. Maybe she got unbalanced between reel and real life. She mixed her reel life into real and real into reel. Usne kya socha hoga usse better toh koi nahi janta. Ye aapne aankhon se dekha. Ye proven hai. She claimed she’s going to shoot. Uske gadi mein mera kuch saman rakha tha. I went to pick them up. I went to the set. She wasn’t there. But after an hour, she came in his car, and her car was followed by his driver.”
Shweta Tiwari’s first husband, Raja Chaudhary, even denied claims of physically abusing the actress. He shared that he may have broken things like the door, TV, and the table, but he never raised his hand at her. He claimed that Shweta lied when she stated that she was beaten by Raja on a daily basis.
