Mirzapur The Movie trailer: Kaleen Bhaiya Munna and Guddu Pandit return for the battle for throne

The wait is finally over. The much-awaited trailer of Mirzapur: The Movie is here, giving audiences their first extensive glimpse into the next epic chapter of the iconic Mirzapur saga. Taking one of the most popular Indian streaming franchises from the world of the series to cinemas, the film promises a grander world and higher stakes as the battle for the throne of Mirzapur shifts gears.

Continuing from the world of season 1, Mirzapur: The Movie brings together some of the franchise’s most beloved and iconic characters, including Kaleen Bhaiya, Munna Bhaiya and Guddu Pandit.

The trailer introduces the King, Kaleen Bhaiya, who is determined to hold on to the Mirzapur throne. His son, Munna Bhaiya, the Prince, is impulsive and quick to act, fully aware of the power and position that come with being the heir. Then there are the lions, Guddu and Bablu, who pose a direct threat to the Prince and his claim to the throne. While Mirzapur the series has already established these character dynamics, the trailer offers a fresh glimpse into their evolving equations, ambitions and rivalries.

The trailer also introduces new characters, including Ravi Kishan, while Jitendra Kumar steps into the role of Bablu, replacing Vikrant Massey. As the battle for the Mirzapur throne continues, alliances are tested, rivalries intensify, and violence and betrayal take centre stage.

The film features Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, Ali Fazal, Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal, Mohitt Maalik, Sheeba Chadha, Rajesh Tailang, Pramod Pathak, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Shweta Tripathi, Sonal S. Chauhan, Anangsha Biswas, Shaji Chaudhary, Satendra Soni, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Sushant Singh in pivotal roles.

Presented by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment, Mirzapur: The Movie is directed by Gurmmeet Singh, written by Puneet Krishna, and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment. The film is co-produced by Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani.
