Vogue Williams swiftly shut down her mum Sandra live on the Heart Radio Breakfast Show as they discussed the name of her fourth child with husband Spencer Matthews

Vogue Williams was forced to shut her mum down live on Heart Radio on Friday (August 14) after she came dangerously close to revealing her unborn baby’s name. During her two weeks hosting the show, the 40-year-old has teased that her fourth baby with husband Spencer Matthews will have a unique name — one she has only shared with a select few loved ones.

On her final day of filling in for Amanda Holden on the show, Vogue was joined by her mum Sandra from Ireland via a phone call. During their chat, Sandra praised her daughter for tackling the early morning shift while heavily pregnant and in the middle of a heatwave.

Vogue’s co-star Jamie Theakston then asked if she was “excited about the new arrival,” to which she said: “Very excited yes,” before adding: “Am I excited about the name? Maybe not so excited,” sparking laughter in the studio.

Jamie went on to say: “We’ve had so much fun with the name these past couple of weeks, I understand it’s a bone of contention, is that right with the name?”

Sandra then appeared to drop a huge hint about her unborn grandchild’s name, as she responded: “Well her little brother went to school with the drummer from U2…,” before Vogue quickly cut her off and yelled: “No mum don’t give away the name!”

Seemingly thrown off by what she had been about to say, Vogue’s mum replied: “No, I’m not saying, but that was his name, it’s not a name that’s been there before,” before swiftly moving on to explain where Vogue got her own name from.

“Vogue’s name is a Saint Vogue in Ireland,” she shared.

During her time on Heart, the presenter has revealed some of the names she loved but ultimately had to ditch after her husband vetoed them.

“I loved Sailor,” she said. “That was vetoed. Not allowed to have it because of the song A Sailor Went To Sea.”

Jamie replied that he didn’t think it was “the worst” name, but added: “That’s not the reason why it’s a bad idea. It’s got to be a name, not an occupation.”

Vogue also revealed that she “loved Rocket” as a baby name, although Jamie wasn’t convinced.

She explained: “Think about what you’d want to be called. I’d love to be called Rocket. And for people closest to me, I’d say, ‘Call me Rocks’.”

Vogue, who is already a mum to Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and three-year-old Otto, hilariously pranked her co-star Jamie Theakston by pretending her waters had broken in the studio earlier this week.

Unaware of the water balloon she had placed between her legs, the host calmly tried to deal with the situation before realising he had been set up — and got his own back the following day by unearthing a song she had previously recorded.
