Reed — a second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft who inked a three-year, $50 million extension in April — was targeted seven times during the Packers’ Week 1 loss to the Vikings, and he entered Sunday’s game with 1,877 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns across his four-year career.
The injury to Reed marked just the first brutal hit the Packers’ offense took on the opening drive.
Bako-Bewele was injured on the next step and carted off with an air cast, and he was subsequently ruled out with a knee injury.
The fourth-round pick in 2022 was making his 53rd career start for the Packers, and he was replaced by Anthony Belton on the next Green Bay drive.
