Caleb Williams has avoided the worst in a massive injury scare.

The Bears star quarterback was carted off the field with a towel over his head in a non-contact injury during the Bears loss to the Vikings on Sunday but reports are now surfacing that he may not miss any time at all.

The Ringer’s Tom Pelissero reports that Williams avoided a major injury and could play this week for the Bears in their Week 3 matchup with the Eagles on “Monday Night Football.”

It was reported after the game that Williams suffered a hamstring strain, and not an ACL tear as initially feared when he was getting carted off the field.
